Key Responsibilities Retail sales associate Customer Service: Greet customers as they enter the store. Assist customers by answering questions about products, services, or store policies. Provide recommendations based on customer needs or preferences. Resolve customer complaints or issues in a friendly and professional manner. Sales and Upselling: Promote and sell products to customers. Upsell or cross-sell additional products when appropriate. Meet or exceed sales goals set by the store or management. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about the store's products, promotions, and inventory. Learn about new arrivals and seasonal stock. Provide accurate information to customers about product features, specifications, and prices. Merchandising and Stocking: Ensure the store shelves and displays are well-organized and visually appealing. Restock shelves and arrange products according to store guidelines. Perform inventory checks and assist in stock management. Checkout and Payment Processing: Operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) systems. Process payments, issue receipts, and handle returns or exchanges. Ensure all transactions are accurate and secure. Store Maintenance: Help maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including tidying up aisles and ensuring fitting rooms are organized. Assist with store opening and closing procedures. Skills & Qualifications: Communication: Strong verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and team members. Customer-Oriented: A helpful, friendly, and approachable demeanor. Product Knowledge: Ability to learn and remember detailed information about products. Multitasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, such as assisting customers and restocking products.
