MRA International Sdn Bhd are seeking an experienced RBI Engineer to join our team. The role involves conducting risk analysis, criticality assessments, and ensuring the accuracy of inspection data. The RBI Engineer will oversee a data entry team, develop inspection plans, and manage RBI studies within the oil & gas, refining, and chemical industries. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in materials, corrosion, inspection, and RBI systems, with experience in risk assessments and using RBI software. RBI Engineer shall be responsible to determine and supervise relevant information that is required to conduct risk analysis, run criticality, assess accuracy levels for the data, conduct QA/QC in every aspect of the analysis, generate inspection plan and inspection pack. This person should be a resource to the team conducting a risk 2. The RBI Engineer shall be responsible to supervise a team of data entry personnel to carry out data entry and collect the necessary data required for the RBI analysis including development of inspection isometric and equipment drawings. 3. The RBI Engineer shall be responsible to carry out risk identification and assessment and data entry and processing. The candidate shall have a vast experience in the area of inspection data entry and QA projects related to RBI, CMM, and Inspection Data including risk assessment, materials corrosion study, report preparations and shall have a successful involvement in completing RBI related projects. Shall have a good knowledge in RBI software. A) Qualification i. Possess a recognized Master's Degree in engineering or equivalent with at least three (3) years experience in RBI analysis and RBI plan and five (5) years proven experience in either the Materials, Materials degradation/Corrosion, Inspection and failure analysis, or the design, construction, repair and operation of pressure containing equipment in the oil & gas production, refining and/or chemical industry, Risk Based Inspection, Corrosion or Inspection related activities; OR Possess a recognized Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent with at least five (5) years experience in RBI analysis and RBI plan and seven (7) years proven experience in either the Materials, Materials degradation/Corrosion, Inspection and failure analysis, or the design, construction, repair and operation of pressure containing equipment in the oil & gas production, refining and/or chemical industry, Risk Based Inspection, Corrosion or Inspection related activities. OR Possess a recognized Diploma in engineering or equivalent with at least seven (7) years experience in RBI analysis and RBI plan and nine (9) years proven experience in either the Materials, Materials degradation/Corrosion, Inspection and failure analysis, or the design, construction, repair and operation of pressure containing equipment in the oil & gas production, refining and/or chemical industry, Risk Based Inspection, Corrosion or Inspection related activities. ii. Shall have at least two (2) years’ experience as RBI engineer / asset integrity engineer / inspection engineer includes but not limited to establish / implement RBI system for new fabricated facilities for new project and update RBI Work for existing pressurized equipment & storage tank and asset at operation phase respectively in Oil and Gas / industries. The RBI Work shall include RBI studies, analysis, criticality ranking and establish IOW & dead leg register for oil and gas upstream pressurized equipment and facilities subject to sour service. B) Attributes Professional qualifications and additional skills mentioned below would be an additional advantage although NOT mandatory: i. Have or have had NACE Corrosion Technologist, API 571, API 510 or API 570 ii. API 580 certifications or equivalent
