Teacher - Business Studies

Role and Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design and develop a comprehensive business studies curriculum.
• Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in business studies, helping students understand essential business concepts, theories, and strategies.
• Practical Applications: Incorporate project-based learning and case studies into the curriculum. Encourage students to apply business concepts to real-world scenarios.
• Technology Integration: Utilize digital tools and technology to enhance business education.
• Digital Literacy: Teach students how to use digital resources responsibly in business research and decision-making.
• Assessment and Grading: Assess students' understanding and performance through various assignments, projects, quizzes, presentations, and exams. Provide constructive feedback and assign grades based on established criteria to help students improve their business knowledge and skills.
• Classroom Management: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel comfortable discussing business issues and asking questions.
• Current Trends in Business: Stay informed about the latest business trends, innovations, and global market developments.
• Professional Development: Stay updated on developments in business education, teaching methodologies, and the integration of new technologies.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Studies or a related field (required).
• Previous teaching experience in an international school setting is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of business principles and the ability to explain complex business concepts clearly and engagingly.
• Familiarity with using technology in business education, including financial modeling tools, presentation software, and business simulations.
• Knowledge of international curricula is preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to foster a practical, inquiry-based learning environment that encourages students to explore and apply business concepts in real-world situations.
• Commitment to professional growth and the ability to integrate new teaching practices, methodologies, and technologies in business education.
