Responsibilities:Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE):- Develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and areas for improvement.
- To become secretary to the H.S.E. committee, if any, any specified under sub regulation 6(2) of the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Committee) Regulations 1996, and perform all functions of a secretary as specified in that Regulations.
- Train employees on safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and best practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain safety records and documentation for reporting and compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with management to create a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
- Coordinate emergency response plans and drills to ensure readiness for various scenarios.
- Monitor and manage the disposal of hazardous materials in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends and regulations related to HSSE and implement necessary changes.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Logistics Management, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge and Experiences in Logistics, Transportation and Warehousing Industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Good team spirit and interacts well others.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various logistics teams and departments.
- At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to work in stressful environment and have sense of urgency to respond to all relevant parties within stipulated timeline.
