Job Overview: Advise sales staff on best pricing based on analysis of market trends and Edwards' historical sales data and/or develop sales and consignment contracts in accordance with negotiated and/or appropriate terms. Benefits: - contract completion bonus Responsibilities: • Assist in developing Excel/Access pricing models for sales contracts. • Analyze market and sales data; provide pricing advice to U.S. sales staff. • Develop pricing proposals for customers in collaboration with field sales. • Evaluate renewal contracts, propose or negotiate revised terms when needed. • Generate contracts and amendments (extensions, model changes, price updates). • Interface with internal/external customers for non-pricing data and clarifications. • Review and negotiate basic contract terms with customers. • Ensure contract compliance with business unit guidelines and secure necessary approvals. • Perform other duties as assigned by Leadership. Requirement: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred. • 1 – 2 years experience related in contract or bid management • Japanese Speaking & Reading Fluent. Japanese languages required at least N3 level • Good computer skills in MS Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Excel; Qlik experience preferred • Good written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills • Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills • Good knowledge and understanding of Edwards policies, procedures and guidelines relevant to contract or bid management • Good knowledge of contract terms and conditions • Good knowledge of sales field operations • Strict attention to detail • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment • Must be able to work in a team environment, including immediate supervisor and other team members in the section or group • Ability to build stable working relationships internally • Adhere to all company rules and requirements
