Debug Section Head

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor and supervise the debug team to ensure effective and efficient troubleshooting and repair of manufacturing equipment and products. Provide training, performance evaluations and technical guidance to team members. • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Oversee the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues related to manufacturing equipment, machinery and product defects. Ensure that troubleshooting methods are effective and that issues are resolved with minimal impact on production timelines. • Process Improvement: Identify trends in product failures or recurring issues and lead initiatives to improve product quality, reduce defects and enhance manufacturing processes. Implement preventive measures to reduce the need for debugging. • Collaboration with Engineering and Production: Work closely with the engineering, production and quality teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and to integrate troubleshooting solutions into production processes. Ensure that debugging solutions do not interfere with production goals. • Root Cause Analysis: Lead investigations into the root causes of production issues, particularly those requiring debugging and implement corrective actions to eliminate or mitigate future occurrences. • Troubleshooting Tools and Techniques: Ensure the team is well-equipped with the necessary diagnostic tools and techniques for troubleshooting production issues. Monitor and review the use of software, test equipment and troubleshooting methodologies. • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all debugging activities, including the identification of issues, actions taken and resolution outcomes. Provide reports to management on debugging trends, performance and any ongoing challenges. • Production Support: Provide direct technical support during critical production periods to ensure that equipment failures or production bottlenecks are addressed swiftly to minimize downtime. • Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance the technical capabilities of the debug team, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest troubleshooting techniques and equipment. • Compliance and Safety: Ensure all debugging activities are performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a culture of safety and ensure the team follows all relevant procedures during debugging processes. • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging team members to contribute ideas for improving debugging processes, production efficiency, and equipment reliability.
