CLERK OF WORK

As a clerk of works you will be responsible for inspecting construction work to ensure it meets standards and health and safety requirements. Main Responsibilities • To check and verify site diary and construction records submitted by the Contractor • To verify alignment, setting out levels and other construction survey work • To liaise with relevant parties on construction interfacing • To study and check construction drawings, liaise with Contractor, Site Engineer/Assistant Resident Engineer / Resident Engineer to resolve site problems • To record all as-built data and prepare and submit site construction record to Site Engineer / Assistant Resident Engineer / Resident Engineer • To carry out standing supervision and check that all construction works are following construction drawings and specifications • To ensure that Quality Plan is carried out at work site • To record daily activities in the time sheet at the end of each working day • To progressively work out the final work and variation order (if any) quantity not later than one calendar month after the issuance of the Certificate of Practical Completion • To promote, implement, adhere, maintain, and improve the Organization's Integrated Management System (IMS) • To inspect, monitor and to ensure that contractor and subcontractor comply with the applicable Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements/local regulations at the construction site • To perform any other relevant tasks assigned from time to time Location: Klang Valley
