Senior Logistic Coordinator

-Responsible to oversee all logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, ensuring they are executed efficiently and in line with company goals and industry standards. - Responsible to manage relationships with vendors, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure service quality, timely deliveries, and cost efficiency. - Responsible to negotiate contracts, service agreements, and rates with logistics providers to ensure optimal performance and cost savings for the company. - Responsible to analyze current logistics operations and implement continuous improvements to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency. - Responsible to lead, mentor, and develop the logistics team by providing training, setting performance expectations, and conducting regular evaluations. - Responsible to ensure accurate inventory levels, effective warehouse space utilization, and optimal stock management to prevent overstocking or stockouts. - Responsible to identify potential risks in the logistics process, including disruptions, delays, and regulatory changes, and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks. - Responsible to maintain clear communication with internal teams (procurement, sales, customer service) and external partners to ensure alignment and timely resolution of any logistics-related issues. - Responsible to monitor and control logistics costs by evaluating performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and managing budgets effectively. - Responsible to ensure all logistics operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements, including customs, safety, and environmental standards. - Responsible to prepare detailed logistics reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and cost analysis for management review and decision-making. - Responsible to evaluate and implement logistics technology solutions, including transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and other tools to improve operational efficiency. - Responsible to ensure that logistics operations meet customer expectations for quality and delivery timelines, addressing customer concerns and improving overall service levels. - Responsible to collaborate with supply chain teams to align logistics strategies with production schedules, inventory management, and demand forecasting. - Responsible to promote and implement environmentally sustainable logistics practices, such as optimizing routes and reducing carbon emissions to support the company’s sustainability goals.
