Quality Manager

Job description Responsibilities A. QC Output • Organizing and monitoring task with the available manpower and QC measuring tools to achieve Output targets • Confers with customer representative to resolve customer complaint. • Work with a variety of department such as engineers, production planners and designers to test and assess the quality of product output. • Ascertain all inspection are performed on all completed work and that proper inspection records, reports and forms are properly executed prior to release the parts. • Manage and control the calibration of M&TE • Responsible for leading day to day Quality Control in production ensuring that production quality metrics are met • Determine that no defective, unserviceable, or unairworthy parts being released to the customer. • Responsible for leading day to day Quality Control in production ensuring that production quality metrics are met B. Supervision of Subordinate • Coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees. • Communicating delivery schedule/deadline and assigning personnel. • Establish training requirements for department staff • Assign work to QC personnel and oversee schedules C. Management System • Quality Establish, co-ordinate, monitor the effectiveness of the Quality Assurance system and maintaining overriding authority for the quality of all components maintained within the facility. • Consult and liaise with relevant Authorities and customers on matters of airworthiness and • approvals • Ensure the required technical data for the machining process are kept current. • Develop and maintain the Quality Manual and relevant procedures • Establish and administer an audit program of the facility, vendors/suppliers and sub-contractors.established, implemented and maintained..D. Operation Excellence • Perform and coordinate audit activities, to verify that all requirements and procedures, pertaining to the Quality Manual and procedures are being complied with. • Ensure that the processes needed for the quality management system are • Lead and initiate Continuous Process improvement, change culture to maximize operations output efficiencies. • Identify opportunities for cost reductions and service quality improvements and minimize internal rejects. • Periodically review the operations processes to identify risks, plug the gaps, implement Quick fixes on process issues, update procedures and share best practices to actively participate in the improvement of overall operations. Key Performance Indicator (KPI) • Daily QC Output vs Delivery schedules • External Quality Reject (Escapes) • Customer Complaint • Internal Manufacturing Operation Rejects • Manufacturing Operation Output Efficiency • Quarterly Invoiced Sales Direct Report Manager • Managing Director Requirement • Leadership Skills. • Diploma/Degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical & Manufacturing major). • Understanding of technical drawings. • Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance Knowledge. • CNC machine concept knowledge. • Computer literate. • CMM Programming knowledge. PC-DMIS is preferred. • Self-motivated and hardworking. • Neat, organized and systematic. • Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin. • Able to work independently as well as being a team-player with strong commitment to department harmony. • Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job. Relevant Experience • 3-5 years of experience in Quality related field • Experience in leadership position • ISO 9100 Quality Management Sytems • AS/EN 9100 Quality Management Systems Job Type: Full-time Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month Schedule: • Monday to Friday
