  • Have Diploma in Hotel Management/ Culinary or equivalent.
  • Minimum at least 3 years relevant working experience (preferably in Hotel or Hospital kitchen).
  • Have good culinary skills and hands on cost management and team management experiences.
  • Ensure the food production is follow the Hospital Diet Manual and guidelines given by Dietitian.
  • Ensure all the daily operations are following policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the quality of food and maintain standard and good presentation of patient’s meal.
  • Develop manual menu book and standard recipes together with Menu Committee.
  • Work as a team in establish the guidelines for food production on portion specifications, appearance, temperature and palatability of food served in manual menu book.
  • Ensure all service areas follow the implementation and compliance with standard operating procedures of Dietetic and Food Service Department, MSQH and the HALAL certification requirement.
  • Maintain food wastage reduction by 30% for monthly.
  • Report all accidents/ incidents and hazard to the superior.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: From RM1,800.00 per month

  • Rotational shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Sungai Petani: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Required)

Experience:

  • cooking: 2 years (Required)

Willingness to travel:

  • 75% (Required)
