Account Executive (Fresh Graduates are welcome)

Our client, a leading building materials distributor in Johor Bahru, is hiring an experienced Account Executive. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Industry: General Wholesale & Trading (Building Materials)
• Location: Kawasan Perindustrian Tebrau III
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM - 5.30 PM; Saturday (Alternative), 8.30 AM - 1.00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Handle full-set accounts, including accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) data entry, month-end closing, and preparation of monthly management reports.
• Prepare reconciliations for all balance sheet items and control accounts.
• Oversee bank balances and cash flow to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet payment deadlines.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of company accounts in compliance with governing standards and regulations.
• Follow up with auditors to ensure audit reports are completed within established timelines and ensure all documents comply with internal policies for audit purposes.
• Assist with tasks involving the company secretary, auditor, and tax agent.
• Prepare reports as required by superiors.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities assigned by superiors.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Experience in full-set accounting; internal audit experience is an advantage.
