JOB & RESPONSIBILITY Supply Chain Management: 1. Oversee procurement, supplier relationships, and demand forecasting to ensure timely availability of materials. 2. Strategically manage warehouse operations in compliance with company policies, ensuring efficiency and alignment with the company’s vision. 3. Optimize logistics, distribution, and inventory management to align with production schedules and minimize costs and delays. 4. Establish and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and transport companies to ensure smooth supply chain operations. 5. Manage stock control, reconcile inventory with data storage systems, and ensure accurate records for materials and finished goods. 6. Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services, ensuring high-quality service delivery. 7. Look for opportunities to improve supply chain processes, such as better supplier terms and efficient inventory management. Warehouse & Production Operations: 1. Supervise warehouse operations, including inventory management, storage, and distribution, in accordance with company policies. 2. Oversee production operations, ensuring timely output, quality control, and adherence to production schedules. 3. Setup warehouse layout and ensure optimal space utilization to increase operational efficiency. 4. Implement and enforce health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for production and warehouse staff. 5. Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to warehouse operations, logistics, or production delays. 6. Adhere to all warehousing, handling, shipping, and relevant legislation requirements to ensure compliance. 7. Supervise, coach, and train warehouse staff, ensuring high performance, productivity, and safety standards. 8. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets for all warehouse and production activities. 9. Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods, ensuring proper coordination and timely delivery. 10. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, ensuring a high level of operational efficiency. Admin & Documentation: 1. Manage and maintain accurate records for warehouse operations, including stock levels, orders, and production status. 2. Ensure proper documentation of all inventory movements and operational procedures, and ensure compliance with company policies. 3. Prepare and manage administrative tasks related to supply chain operations, such as report generation and maintaining records for audits. 4. Handle daily administrative tasks, such as answering inquiries, processing orders, coordinating between teams, and preparing reports. 5. Prepare regular reports for senior management regarding inventory levels, production status, logistics performance, and other related operational metrics. 6. Coordinate with accounting and finance teams for invoicing, cost tracking, and inventory audits. 7. Prepare and manage the annual budget for warehouse and production operations, ensuring cost-effective management of resources. 8. Assist in recruitment, employee orientation, and staff management for warehouse and operations roles. Coordination & Collaboration: 1. Coordinate effectively across teams (sales, procurement, production, logistics) to ensure seamless operations and resolve any operational issues. 2. Communicate proactively with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth information flow across departments, addressing issues or delays in real time. 3. Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately, and appraise results to ensure optimal team performance. 4. Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to maintain a highly skilled and efficient workforce. Optimization & Reporting: 1. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess supply chain, warehouse, and production performance, identifying areas for improvement. 2. Produce regular reports, including IN/OUT status, stock levels, dead stock, and production status reports, to keep senior management informed. 3. Look for opportunities to reduce waste and improve throughput in warehouse and production operations, continuously optimizing operational efficiency. 4. Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements in all warehouse and production activities. Health, Safety & Compliance: 1. Maintain standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security within warehouse and production operations. 2. Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and ISO standards, including warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation. Other Tasks: 1. As per request by the management from time to time. REQUIREMENTS: • Open to Malaysian citizens only. • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, Business, or a related field. • Proven experience of at least 3 - 5 years in a senior management role for Bachelor Degree, preferably within manufacturing, retail, or logistics in the textile industry. • Strong knowledge in overseeing operations across departments such as Sales, Marketing, HR, Procurement, Accounts, Supply Chain, and Logistics. • Experience in OEM manufacturing and a solid understanding of operational efficiency and process improvement. • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant ERP systems. • Ability to make strategic decisions and drive business growth while ensuring cost-effective operations. • Previous experience working with both local and overseas suppliers, manufacturers, and clients. • Willing to travel locally and internationally when required. • Must possess own transport. • Applicants must be willing to relocate to Kota Kemuning / Telok Panglima Garang, Selangor.
