Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment:
- Evaluate patients’ physical abilities, limitations, and pain levels through various assessment tools and techniques.
- Develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to each patient’s specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
2. Treatment Planning and Implementation:
- Use physical therapy techniques, exercises, and equipment to improve patient mobility and strength.
- Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, self-care practices, and lifestyle modifications.
- Administer manual therapy, ultrasound, electrotherapy, and other treatment methods as appropriate.
3. Progress Monitoring:
- Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate progress, setbacks, and discharge plans with patients and their families.
4. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide advice and support on injury prevention, workplace ergonomics, and safe movement techniques.
5. Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Manage appointments, prepare treatment areas, and keep equipment sanitized and organized.
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Valid license to practice as a physiotherapist.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physical therapy techniques, and rehabilitation exercises.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach.
- Physical stamina and ability to assist with lifting or supporting patients when necessary.
Experience:
- Less than 2 years experience
- Fresh graduate are encouraged to apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
