Quality Analyst (Quality Assurance Background)

Company Industry: Manufacturing (consumer healthcare) Position: Quality Analyst (science/lab) Working Location: Jalan Tandang, 46050 Petaling Jaya, Selangor Working hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm Working Duration: 12 months Salary: Can up to RM3100 Job Responsibilities: • To support overall end to end quality control for incoming raw and packaging material (RPM), bulk and product testing which includes but not limited to the following tasks: • Sample receiving, sorting and retention in accordance with company requirements. • Coordination of samples delivery for outsource testing and ensuring results are received on- time • Review of RPM supplier COA and outsourced testing results • Records reconciliation of RPM test data • Management of RPM reference standards, other standard references for testing • Raw material testing such as but not limited to FTIR, pH, viscosity, Refractive index, Specific gravity and where relevant as specified within the respective RM specification • Packaging material inspection and testing • Bulk and product testing as per the specifications (appearance, pH, viscosity, preservative), stability sample management • Periodic audit and management on outsourcing service related to sampling and testing activity • To support in the qualification of materials for reduced testing program and dock to stock program • To support in the document, records and inventories management for the lab and housekeeping initiatives • To support in the change management for projects and plant initiatives • To support in audit readiness for the lab (quality & compliance and safety) Leadership • To support and proactively lead the following Lab Quality Management System (QMS) such as but not limited to: • Laboratory investigations and non- conformance handling; Root cause analysis • Records management and reconciliation • Equipment calibration and preventive maintenance program • Change management process • Sample management and traceability • To support laboratory safety program and ensure sustainability within the QC team • To support laboratory continuous improvement projects in lieu to optimize laboratory processes and increasing laboratory efficiency • Proactively pursue self- learning to complete the competency requirement as per the training matrix. Requirement • Education: Bachelor Degree in Science related field and equivalent Experience and Skills: • A minimum of 1-3 years of Good Laboratory Practices experience in a QC role (incoming, analytical and/or microbiological testing), in either Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, OTC Drug, Cosmetic and/or Food and Dietary Supplements Production. • Experience in Quality Management System covering Laboratory Controls, Handling of Nonconformances and CAPA, Root Cause Analysis, Good Documentation and Data Integrity Practices and good understanding of cGMP, ISO9001 and regulatory requirements.
