Service Barista (T&L Bakery Cafe)

As the Barista at T&L Bakery Cafe (Platinum Setup Sdn Bhd), you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to customers. This position requires a combination of beverage preparation expertise, excellent customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment. You will be responsible for crafting coffee beverages, assisting with food service coordination, and ensuring a clean, welcoming atmosphere in the café. This role is ideal for a junior-level candidate with a passion for food and beverages, and a commitment to professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Customer Service

-Greet and serve customers in a professional and friendly manner. -Accurately take and process customer orders. -Manage reservations and incoming phone calls. -Ensure customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service and products.

• Beverage Preparation

-Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages according to the cafe's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). -Develop coffee specials and sample new products. -Operate and maintain coffee machines, reporting maintenance needs when necessary.

• Food Service Coordination

-Coordinate food orders from the kitchen to the dining area. -Ensure the quality and presentation of dishes before serving. -Assist in packaging takeaway orders and garnishing dishes (e.g., churros).

• Order Management

-Manage order flow accurately and prioritize based on urgency. -Maintain clear communication between the kitchen and service team on order status.

• Daily Operations

-Follow Opening and Closing (OPCL) procedures. -Ensure adequate inventory levels and stock supplies as needed. -Maintain a clean and organized workspace in compliance with hygiene standards.

• Professional Development

-Participate in ongoing training and development programs. -Stay informed on new products, preparation methods, and trends within the industry.

• Work Environment

-Adhere to assigned work areas as designated by management. -Respect restricted areas and follow internal policies related to workspaces.

• Marketing Activity Participation:

-Actively promote seasonal products, special promotions, and in-store offers to customers. -Assist with social media content by providing insights into daily operations or participating in promotional events. -Engage with customers to encourage participation in loyalty programs, surveys, or feedback initiatives. -Support marketing campaigns by suggesting product pairings, and new beverage ideas, or contributing to customer experience improvements. -Participate in company-hosted events, product demonstrations, or workshops as a brand representative.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
