Senior Drafter (Metal Manufacturing Industry)

• Liaise with the production manager, engineers, and sales team to gather product and structural requirements.
• Calculate dimensions and material specifications accurately.
• Create detailed HVAC designs using AutoCAD and CAMduct software based on requirements or customizations.
• Retrieve and compile data from AutoCAD, CAMduct, and other drawing software.
• Operate laser machines (experience in this area is an advantage).
• Oversee material scheduling and planning to maximize material usage efficiently.
• Identify potential operational issues and redesign products to improve functionality.
• Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
• Prepare reports for management review.
• Maintain proper records for finished goods and work-in-progress (WIP) inventory.
• Ensure work instructions and procedures are followed correctly.

Job Requirement and Qualification:

• Degree / Diploma / Profession Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 3 years of experience in drawing HAVC and design using Audo-Cad and/or CAMduct and/or Revit software
• Ability to understand industrial products structural and design drawings eg. ducting, damper, etc
• Ability to create, review and modify drawings based on the projects requirement
• Good understanding in construction / industrial product layout drawing
• Good communication and interpretation skill
• Proficient in Microsoft office software
• Proficient in English

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
