Recruiter, Manufacturing and Engineering is responsible for providing guidance on intricate matters of sourcing and assessing candidates, managing candidate experience, overseeing staffing operations and ensuring compliance with recruitment processes to facilitate successful talent acquisition. The role builds and nurtures relationships with hiring managers in a business and sub-region while cultivating connections with influential decision-makers. The role guides and oversees the attainment of hiring objectives encompassing time-to-fill, cost per hire, diversity, and candidate satisfaction.
What a Recruiter, Manufacturing and Engineering - 2 years contract does at HP:
Maintains relationships with hiring managers within a business and sub-region; develops relationships with key decision-makers. Drives and supervises the achievement of the hiring targets for the sub-region, including time to fill, cost per hire, graduate, diversity, and candidate satisfaction.
Manages the beginning-to-end staffing process within the sub-region; implements sourcing strategies within the sub-regions, screens candidates, provides a short list of candidates, coordinates interviews, creates offer letters, and facilitates relocation.
Creates and posts job openings on various job boards and/or the company's career website, which includes writing job descriptions, formatting postings, and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Assists in sourcing and identifying potential candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, referrals, and other recruitment sources.
Schedules and coordinates interviews between candidates and hiring managers, including arranging interview logistics, sending interview confirmations, and coordinating travel arrangements, if applicable.
Supports the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing and sending offer letters, conducting pre-employment screenings, coordinating background checks, and ensuring completion of new hire paperwork.
Provides a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by maintaining regular communication with candidates, responding to candidate inquiries, and providing timely updates on the status of their applications.
Provides general administrative support to the talent acquisition team, such as scheduling meetings, preparing recruitment-related documents, maintaining recruitment files, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
Counsels with managers on the hiring process and ensures that managers are in compliance with corporate and government policy.
Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess:
Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
Typically has more than 5 years of work experience, preferably in talent acquisition, candidate sourcing, or related field.
Experience in manufacturing hiring is a must.
