JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Strategic Account Management:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for key accounts, particularly government agencies and other regulatory and communication bodies in Kementerian Komunikasi, Kementerian Digital as well as private sector clients.
Build and maintain relationship maps of decision-makers and influencers across key accounts to accelerate sales opportunities.

2. Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Work alongside BUH and Senior Management to identify and propose innovative strategies to penetrate untapped markets in existing account.
Drive cross-selling opportunities by introducing innovative services and solutions, ensuring clients see the value of leveraging state-of-the-art technology.
Lead proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals that align with both client needs and company goals.

3. Market Research & Innovation:

  • Stay ahead of trends in the broadcasting, OTT, and media technology industries, particularly within Malaysia’s Broadcast, Media and Telco Industry. Knowledge and interest in AI and Cloud technology is encouraged.
Use insights to inform strategy, ensuring that our solutions remain competitive and tailored to market demands.
Advocate for cutting-edge technologies to help clients stay ahead in their industries, from digitisation, content distribution to monetization.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy:

  • Proactively build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in customer account.
Develop a deep understanding of public-sector ecosystems and leverage insights to create opportunities for collaboration and mutual success.
Represent the company in high-level meetings, forums, and public-sector events, advocating for innovative solutions and addressing client challenges.

JOB REQUIREMENT:
1. Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales within the broadcasting, media, or telecommunications industries.
Demonstrated success managing large, complex accounts, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals ($1M+ ACV).
Familiarity with government agencies, including navigating procurement processes and understanding public-sector dynamics.

2. Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of the broadcast, media and telco knowledge.
Expertise in emerging technologies such as AI, cloud solutions, and media digitization.

3. Relationship Building:

  • Exceptional ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders in government and private sectors.
Experience fostering collaboration across internal teams and client organizations to ensure alignment and success.

4. Skills & Competencies:

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to craft and execute account plans while balancing lobbying, sales, and customer service.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Results-driven and proactive, with a passion for innovation and technology adoption.
