Job Description
- Handle full set of accounts with preparation of monthly Management Account Report.
- Prepare monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Prepare receiving/ journal/ payment vouchers, debit/credit note and issuance of cheques.
- Check and verify suppliers’ invoice (i.e full supporting documents with purchase requisition (PR), Purchase Order (PO) and delivery order (DO).
- Monitor recurring expenses payment are made up to date (i.e utilities bill).
- Update bank book and prepare monthly bank reconciliation.
- Update debtors aging, review debtors account and collection of debts (i.e send payment reminder letter, debtors’ statement of account and etc).
- Update fixed assets listing and small value assets.
- Update debtor’s collection records and details.
- Prepare monthly stock control accounts including stock take, assets tagging and maintain updated inventory record and financial reporting including period count on physical asset.
- Liaise with auditors and other related parties as requested by the Management.
- Handle all company payments to suppliers, vendors, payroll etc.
- Generate financial reports and presentation of financial analysis during monthly management meeting and board of directors meeting.
- Prepare costing analysis and assist in preparation of yearly budget and financial forecasting.
- Ensure timely reporting of all monthly/quarterly/yearly financial information
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial results, ad hoc requests.
- Collaborate with other finance leads to support overall Finance goals and objectives.
- Checking invoices and follow up payments.
- Assist in preparing ad hoc reports as requested by immediate superior.
- Any other ad hoc task as requested by the management
- Observe and comply with company policies.
Requirements:
- Possess Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Banking or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the Accounting field.
- Knowledge in spreadsheet and with experience using UBS Accounting Software.
- Possess good positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills and follow up skills.
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work under tight schedule and deadlines
- Charismatic, cheerful, professional and engaging.
- Well organised and meticulous.
- Consistently and independently solve problems and achieve objectives.
