Position Title: Sales Order Senior Executive
Our client is a US Based MNC specialized in optical material and semiconductors manufacturing, currently looking for a Sales Order Senior Executive to handle customer orders in compliance with company requirements and quality expectations. The role will be based in Ipoh, Perak.
Primary Responsibilities
- Reconcile and audit customer booking packages against the Global Booking policy, SOX, and Revenue policies.
- Review purchase orders for completeness and accuracy.
- Enter and Book orders in the global Oracle ERP System including service contracts.
- Work closely with Finance, Planning, Manufacturing Operations and Shipping to ensure terms and conditions are properly met.
- Interface with customers, Sales and other departments to address and resolve issues related to bookings and customer sat.
- Ensure all bookings are entered according to SLA’s.
- Provide timely order status and tracking information to internal and external customers
- Work with key account Sales and Services engineers on all levels of support for external customers to resolve complex scheduling issues.
- Must be able to interpret and understand the meaning of Incoterms as they relate to domestic and international bookings.
- Manage and resolve backlog issues including order hold release, product configuration issues, item number discrepancies and purchase order requirements
- Provide month end and quarter end support as needed to achieve corporate goals.
- Participate in projects and goals to support Department and Corporate goals.
- Process post sale service orders and RMA’s in Oracle ERP system.
- Communicate and coordinate shipments
Qualifications / Requirements
- Degree with minimum 6- 8 years related experience in Order Management working in a complex environment.
- Solid understanding of revenue recognition rules and guidelines.
- Knowledge of Incoterms and business practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills. (Must be fluent in English)
- Well organized and able to effectively handle multiple tasks.
- Experience with Oracle and Salesforce.com is preferred.
- Able to work from 6 am to 3.15 pm to support US hours.
- Flexibility to work during weekends is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
