We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in handling the full spectrum of accounting functions and financial activities. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to provide strategic insights to support decision-making processes. The Finance Executive will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
Full Set of Accounting:
- Manage and oversee the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions, journal entries, and adjustments.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities in a timely manner.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Present financial information to management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with relevant departments to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance, identify variances, and provide explanations for deviations.
- Assist in developing strategies to manage and control expenses effectively.
Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data accuracy.
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Implement best practices to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Participate in system enhancements and upgrades related to accounting and finance.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the finance team.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Assist in training and development initiatives to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.
Financial Analysis and Decision Support:
- Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and investment decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for business planning and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certification is a plus.
- Proven experience 5 years in a similar finance/accounting role, preferably in a senior capacity.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership capabilities with a focus on team collaboration and development.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
