Job Description:
- Supervise and manage housekeeping operations for assigned floors or areas.
- Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve any issues identified during inspections.
- Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to achieve high performance and productivity.
- Prepare daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff efficiency.
- Conduct daily briefings and provide feedback and performance evaluations to team members.
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly.
- Ensure special requests (e.g., VIP setups, extra amenities) are handled accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; submit requisitions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, including proper use of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on safety protocols and industry best practices.
- Ad-Hoc duties assign from time to time by management.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping, preferably in a hotel setting.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English & Bahasa (additional languages are a plus).
- Due to work permit restrictions, the position is only open to Malaysian Citizens & permanent residents of Malaysia.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
