Job Description:

  • Supervise and manage housekeeping operations for assigned floors or areas.
  • Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance team to resolve any issues identified during inspections.
  • Lead, train, and motivate housekeeping staff to achieve high performance and productivity.
  • Prepare daily work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor staff efficiency.
  • Conduct daily briefings and provide feedback and performance evaluations to team members.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly.
  • Ensure special requests (e.g., VIP setups, extra amenities) are handled accurately.
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities; submit requisitions as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards, including proper use of chemicals and cleaning equipment.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff on safety protocols and industry best practices.
  • Ad-Hoc duties assign from time to time by management.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent communication skills; proficiency in English & Bahasa (additional languages are a plus).
  • Due to work permit restrictions, the position is only open to Malaysian Citizens & permanent residents of Malaysia.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
