Reporting to the District Sales Manager, the Senior Sales Executive will be responsible in organized involvement of multiple people in the company’s Sales process, so that new customer revenue is constantly secured for the company’s district office and network. The role will focus on achieving results that are aligned with the overall organization and the strategic goals. The role will be based in Petaling Jaya.
The role
- Manage an assigned territory and demonstrate extensive knowledge of potential customers and competitors in this area.
- Timely data entry in the company’s Customer Relationship Management tool.
- Establish customer / branch relationships and collaborate with regional Product, Service, Geo, and Knowledge Management resources.
- Participate in the making of value-added solutions for customer’s logistics needs, which includes supporting diagrams and cost-benefit calculations.
- Support the transition of new accounts through customer introductions, information transfer and securing any necessary customer paperwork and when needed, support Account Receivable collection.
- Attend training and development sessions in developing selling skills continually and updating the company’s product and service knowledge.
- To be involve in local trade groups, as directed by the District Sales Manager.
- To take up additional task as required in supporting company needs.
The requirements
- Possess Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of related working experience.
- Ability to meet up with customers off-site on a regular basis.
- Proficient in English language both oral and written.
- Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work productively both independently and with a team.
- Able to work in a fast paced and continuously changing environment.
- Comfortable with regular data entry.
- Strong rapport and focused on relationship-building.
- Ability to make quick decisions in response to changing environment.
- Self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic, and persuasive.
- Timeliness, accountability for results and sense of urgency.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
