Position Statement
This position is concerned with supporting the overall strategic management of the revenue section by owning the analytics that drive clear insights from the market and hotel trends for the purpose of maximizing and optimizing revenues, in addition to translating these insights to all key F&B revenue stakeholder groups to support improved strategies and activations to drive change, increase marketshare and revenue growth.
What will I be doing?
- Ensure the key stakeholder groups, F&B leaders, commercial leaders on property and regionally are provided with analytics to identify trends, opportunities, current performance vs targets for the purpose of providing the changing position of performance.
- Provide clear proactive insights to stakeholders so they manage business results effectively and respond quickly to changes in performance. Through daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
- Create standardize reporting for all properties to use to optimize the time spent creating reports vs analyzing them and sharing insights, set defined regular meetings that allow you to share your valuable insights for the purpose of making adjustments to the business activities.
- Conduct, on a weekly basis, the F&B Business Focus Meeting to communicate specific business and market insights being clear about when and when the business needs increased revenues.
- Analyze competitors’ activities and pricing strategies, and produce weekly competition reports and monthly revenue comparison.
- Analyze trends of business by market segment, booking channel and GOB and prepare relevant reports.
- Distribute BoB reports and share insights on positive conversion or required action. Innovate systems to give BoB visibility in outlet covers and revenue across all properties
- Support F&B Ops in identifying opportunities for revenue and profit optimization from frequently sold menu items (e.g restaurant menus / online delivery channel)
- To review and monitor GME and F&B Sales prospect and definite business and support the sales teams identify key need periods, opportunities to flex pricing to improve conversion and run P&Ls to qualify projects (festive packages in outlets, outside catering jobs) as profitable and priced correctly to secure high conversion.
- Responsible for the implementation, training and ongoing support of F&B yield management across sales and operations teams, coaching them when and how to price correctly to optimize conversion and drive higher profit business as demand.
- Support hotel in devising RevMax targets and key focus items to optimize profitability
- Own the F&B (outlets/catering) and OOD revenue forecasts for all properties and achieve the accuracy as set out by regional targets
- Work with the commercial leaders to devise Hilton and Owner Budgets on an annual basis whilst supporting strategy to achieve this budgets.
