About the job

In this role your responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Execute assignments following the Source to Contract Process for projects up to given threshold in close collaboration with the corporate and Global Category Manager (GCM).
  • Support GCM in strategy creation for category
  • Identify savings potentials - supported by data analytics - ensure the achievement of the service targets with respect to quality, cost and time
  • Ensure that all practices meet applicable legal requirements as well as relevant internal policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and expert functions in clarifying requirements.
  • Execute source-to-contract elements of global category strategies for the defined business units on request from the respective GCM.
  • Monitor supplier performance
  • Support supplier relationship management regarding qualification and development of the suppliers in order to ensure existence of an adequate supplier base in the procurement systems
  • Ensure adherence to standard briefing templates and specification templates.
  • Adherence to procurement processes and systems and support continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Responsibility function in order to ensure sustainability sourcing solutions.
  • Reduce maverick spend and identify possibilities to improve the ordering process

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

  • Minimum 2+ years as sourcing manager on multiple categories
  • University Degree
  • Excellent English proficiency
  • Proficiency in one of the APAC languages (Japanese, Korean, Thai) would be an advantage.
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge
  • Advanced SAP/ARIBA Knowledge (understanding End to End process flow)
  • Strong sourcing experience and negotiations skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
