We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Plant Helper to join our team in the Oil & Gas Refining Industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the efficient and safe operation of our plant facilities. As a Plant Helper, you will support plant operations, maintenance, and ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities.

Job Responsibilities :

To oversee the overall housekeeping in all the production unit areas.
To conduct daily routine checks on all vehicles belonging to the production team.
To operate the forklift when requested by the shift team. Always ensure safe operation during working hours.
To operate the vacuum truck when requested by the shift team. Always ensure safe operation during working hours.
To buy food for the shift team.
To assist the production unit technician with daily operational activities when requested by the shift team.
To maintain good communication with the shift team during working hours.
To coach and train any new plant helpers.
To assist in unloading chemicals from tankers into the respective chemical skid tanks and ensure the correct lineup is done.
To guide and assist any lorry drivers delivering chemicals to the refinery.
To check the lube oil and chemical stock on a routine basis.
To assist with additional job assignments as and when requested by any day staff of the production team.
To collect product samples for quality assurance checks based on the agreed schedule or as requested by the shift team.
To assist with any slop products brought back and discharged at the Interceptor 2.
To top up all additives/chemicals when requested by the shift team.
To attend the daily STM and update any issues/concerns on a daily basis.
To help cover overtime as required.
