Qualifications:
- Possess at least a degree in any field and minimum 3 years related working experience. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge in building materials and machineries.
- Good command in written and spoken English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia; must be computer literate.
- Proactive, dependable and possess knowledge in vendor sourcing practices.
- Ability to multi-task and priorities work based on delivery schedule and urgent/ad hoc demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor purchasing activities.
- Develop and establish relationship with supplier and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company’s goals.
- Ensure that purchased products/materials meet quality standards and specifications.
- Work closely with other departments to forecast needs and optimize supply chain processes.
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with legal, ethical, and company’s standards.
- Generate and present reports on purchasing activities, costs, and savings to management.
