Lecturer (Innovation and Technology)

Key Responsibilities:

Teaching and Curriculum Development:

• Deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops on innovation and technology topics such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), or other emerging areas.
• Develop and update course materials to reflect the latest trends and practices in innovation and technology.
• Assess and provide feedback to students to ensure their academic growth and development.

Research and Scholarly Activity:

• Conduct high-quality research in the field of innovation and technology and publish in reputable journals or conferences.
• Seek opportunities for interdisciplinary research and collaboration within and outside the institution.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.

Industry and Community Engagement:

• Establish connections with industry leaders to bring practical insights into the classroom and create internship opportunities for students.
• Organize and participate in seminars, conferences, and workshops that focus on innovation and technological advancements.
• Serve as a mentor to students pursuing careers in technology and innovation fields.

Institutional Contributions:

• Contribute to the strategic objectives of the institution by supporting innovation-driven projects and initiatives.
• Participate in department meetings, curriculum reviews, and institutional events.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methodologies and academic offerings.

Qualification/Requirement:

• Master Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligent or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in using and teaching Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Generative AI, Machine Learning, PyTorch, Pyton & Big Data Analytics, Blockchain, Smart Contracts and Decentralized Finance (DeFi).
• Up-to-date Knowledge: Familiarity with the latest versions and updates of the programming software.
• Minimum of 1 year teaching experience with ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely and flexibility in teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
• Energetic and a good team player.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to going the extra mile to deliver quality education is expected.
• Experience in developing teaching methodologies and materials, with a focus on effectively using IT technologies to facilitate teaching and learning, is highly desirable.
