Key Responsibilities: 1) Support and execute comprehensive ESG strategies aligned with the organization's values, goals, and industry best practices. 2) Identify and prioritize key ESG issues relevant to the business operations and industry sector. 3) Support the development of ESG performance metrics, targets, and reporting mechanisms to track progress and ensure accountability. 4) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ESG considerations into business processes, product development, and supply chain management. 5) Support ESG risk assessments and provide guidance on mitigating risks and maximizing opportunities for positive impact. 6) Engage with investors, analysts, customers, and other stakeholders to communicate our ESG initiatives and performance effectively. 7) Cultivate partnerships with external organizations, NGOs, and industry peers to advance collective ESG goals and drive innovation. 8) Provide mentorship to internal teams, fostering a culture of sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical governance. 9) Project manage cross-teams to run ESG initiatives, which includes support and lead projects within the ESG space amongst others driving internal projects and delivering internal ESG KPIs. 10) Track, monitor and communicate progress via data records, presentations, or communications. Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as environmental science, sustainability, business management, or a related discipline. Advanced degree preferred. - Minimum of 15 years of experience in ESG management, corporate sustainability, or related fields, with a proven track record of success. - Deep knowledge of ESG frameworks, standards, and reporting guidelines, with strong affinity for sustainability’s purpose, and a self-starter keen to embark and deliver new projects that may challenge the status quo of internal operations. - A team player, with strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills to convince peers and other stakeholders on the importance of ESG initiatives in their operations and workStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and trends related to environmental, social, and governance issues. - Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive initiatives to completion. - Familiarity with relevant regulations, legislation, and industry initiatives related to ESG disclosure and reporting. - Passion for sustainability, social impact, and corporate responsibility, with a commitment to driving positive change within organizations and society, and familiar with the United Nations Sustainable Development Group (UNSDG) goals.
