We are looking for an effective Warehouse Manager to direct receiving, warehousing and distribution operations. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Responsibilities:
- -Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures. -Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols. -Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system. -Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock. -Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results. -Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment. -Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads. -Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner. -Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. -Coordinate maintenance schedules for facilities, equipment, infrastructure and system breakdown to minimize downtime. -Responsible to maintain high level of safety, housekeeping & 5S at warehouse.
- -Minimum Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics or transportation. -Proven working experience in managerial position for at least 5 years. -Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. -Strong knowledge in Warehouse Management System. -Possess strong analytical & problem-solving skills. -Possess strong leadership, self-motivated, aggressive, result oriented with a good positive working attitude. -Ability to multitask, organized, good time management & negotiation skills. -Able to work under pressure.
