We seek a highly skilled and results-driven ad operations senior manager to join us at FreakOut Malaysia
As an ad operations senior manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing and managing marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer engagement and support our business objectives. You will be responsible for the overall campaign management, including market research, target audience segmentation, content development and execution, digital marketing campaign performance and tactical recommendations. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage your expertise in marketing strategies to drive results.

Objectives of this role
- Developing and executing strategic digital marketing campaigns aligned with client business objectives, target audiences and budgets in Malaysia
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling marketing collateral that aligns with the brand's tone and positioning.
- Conducting market research and analysing consumer insights to identify target audience segments, preferences and behaviours.
- Tracking campaign performance, analysing data and metrics and providing actionable insights and recommendations for campaign optimisation.
- Managing relationships with external agencies, vendors and publishers partners to ensure timely and effective campaign execution.
- Leveraging digital marketing channels to maximise campaign reach and engagement.
Your tasks
- Managing a team of campaign specialists to implement comprehensive campaign strategies and timelines, ensuring seamless execution and delivery for campaigns in Malaysia
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop visually appealing and impactful marketing assets and ensure timely and cost-effective campaign completion.
- Collaborate with publishers' partners to implement campaigns and creative formats on publishers' inventory
- Implement tracking mechanisms and analytics tools to monitor campaign performance and measure ROI.
- Prepare and present campaign reports and insights to stakeholders, highlighting the key findings and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for campaign improvements and implement strategic adjustments as needed.
- Stay updated with the marketing trends, technologies and best practices to drive campaign innovation.
Required skills and qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business or a related field.
- 3+ years as a campaign manager, publishers manager or a similar role.
- Proven experience in campaign management and marketing with a track record of successfully executing marketing campaigns.
- Excellent knowledge of digital marketing tools and techniques, including social media platforms, post schedulers and web analytic tools.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, campaign development and digital marketing channels.
- Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure and optimise campaign performance.
- Efficient project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret campaign data, identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Hands-on experience with SSPs, GAM, tag management, prebid solutions, and a strong proficiency in Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables).
- Solid understanding of the digital media ecosystem with a good network of digital publishers and app owners.
- Fluent in English, Chinese and Bahasa, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in Malaysia consumer market landscape
