- Handle end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of candidates.
- Maintain and update employee records, contacts and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Manage payroll preparation, employee benefits and leave tracking.
- Address employee concerns and provide HR-related support to the management team.
- Handle general accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, bookkeeping and monthly reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and budgets.
- Ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Manage petty cash and prepare invoices and payments.
- Collaborate with auditors and tax agents as required.
- Proven experience in both HR and accounting roles.
- Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL or autocount)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Chinese, Malay and English (written and spoken) to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
