Reporting to: COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR, MALAYSIA

Location: GREATER KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA

Working days: 5 days a week (Mon-Friday). 10 AM to 6 PM LOCAL TIME

Job Description:

Lead the sales team in MALAYSIA to drive business growth and optimize operating margins.

Cover all main markets, including KLANG, JOHOR, KUANTAN AND PENANG.

Able to travel locally and throughout MALAYSIA for customer visits.

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve short and long-term sales targets in

collaboration with senior management.

Play an active role in creating annual budget.

Manage client relationships for exports, imports, and value-added services, ensuring world-

class customer service.

Build strategic alliances and partnerships with external organizations to expand market

reach.

Collaborate closely with pricing, fleet procurement, finance and other Deccan teams to

support market strategies and achieve financial targets.

Monitor and report team performance regularly, providing insights for continuous

improvement.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to service delivery.

Keep Abreast of external market conditions and competition activities, Regularly updating

management and colleagues.

Participate in Deccan global sales meetings including International travel as required.

Requirements:

Minimum 5years of experience in the ISO Tank industry, with at least 3 years specifically in a

sales role.

Technical understanding of the Tank Container and knowledge of the range of products

carried.

A suitable level of further education in a relevant field.

Proven experience in a sales management position with demonstrated team leadership

skills.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge of basic finance principles and proficiency in office applications.

Able to be an effective team member whilst also a self-starter in sales activities.
