About the role

Join the dynamic team at Kang & Cheah as an Accounts Assistant and Management Service. This full-time role is based in Ipoh Perak, and it will allow you to apply your skills in bookkeeping and small practice accounting. Your expertise will be integral to supporting the firm's clients and contributing to the business's overall success.

What you'll be doing

  • Maintain and update clients' financial records, including accounts payable and receivable
  • Process and record financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Reconcile bank statements and prepare financial reports
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting and management team
  • Liaise with clients to address queries and provide excellent customer service

What we're looking for

  • Relevant qualification in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
