Based in Ipoh head office.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and finalization of subsidiaries’ annual financial statement; monthly and quarterly management accounts; monthly cash flow forecast and annual estimate.
- Statutory financial reporting compliance and liaise with external auditor and lead the audit process.
- Handling and supervising day to day accounting and financial operation.
- Perform budget analysis and costing report for management reporting of operations.
- Prepare full set of accounts and any other related accounts as assigned from time to time.
- Monthly review of financial statements of Operating Centres for compliance to accounting standards and Group policies.
- Perform year end finalization of financial statement of Operating Centres.
- Provide guidance and training to Operating Centres on accounting matters.
- Quarterly and annual reconciliation of ledgers.
- Attend to queries and information requested by auditors.
- Coordinate and consolidate annual budgets.
- Perform analysis as requested by management from time to time.
- Any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting from recognized Universities.
- Preferably 2-3 years post-qualifying experience with a professional accounting firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point, Excel and Word).
- Fast learner, independent and self-motivated.
- Possess good communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff in the organization and a good team player.
- Able to work and communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Must be willing to be based in Ipoh.
