About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Supervisor to join our team at FDIG RETAIL' in Setia Alam, Selangor. As a Retail Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our retail store, overseeing a team of retail assistants and delivering exceptional customer service. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the retail team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Monitor and maintain proper stock levels, merchandise displays, and store cleanliness
  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing all store operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement store policies and procedures
  • Be able to make any decisions regarding the store while the Manager is on leave.
  • Place order with purchaser , alert of grocery prices from time to time and be able to make price adjustments in stores as quickly.
  • Ensuring that there is always enough stock in the store.

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience in a retail supervisory role. No experience also can apply.
  • Have GDL license as an advantage.
  • Have experience in sales also can apply.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results
  • Familiarity with retail operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and cash handling
  • Proficient in using relevant retail software and microsoft office.
