MOLDING MANAGER

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Molding Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of the molding process in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, high-quality production, and the proper maintenance of molding machinery and equipment. The Molding Manager will work closely with the production, engineering, and quality teams to meet production targets while maintaining the highest safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Molding Operations Management:
• Oversee day-to-day molding operations to ensure smooth and efficient production.
• Ensure the optimal use of molding machinery and tools to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Plan and allocate resources (personnel, materials, equipment) to meet production goals.
• Monitor production rates and adjust as necessary to meet customer demands.
• Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead, train, and develop a team of molding technicians and operators.
• Provide guidance on troubleshooting, process improvements, and training on best practices.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process optimizations.
• Quality Assurance:
• Ensure molding processes are aligned with product quality specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to resolve any product quality issues related to the molding process.
• Monitor and enforce strict adherence to quality control procedures.
• Maintenance & Equipment Management:
• Oversee the maintenance and calibration of all molding equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to troubleshoot and resolve any machinery malfunctions.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced according to a regular maintenance schedule.
• Safety Compliance:
• Enforce safety standards and ensure all employees follow safety protocols while operating molding machinery.
• Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the molding area.
• Provide training on safety procedures and ensure a safe working environment.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for improving molding processes to increase efficiency, reduce scrap rates, and enhance product quality.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies to optimize the molding process.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity and cost-effectiveness.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment performance, and quality metrics.
• Generate regular reports on production progress, equipment downtime, and employee performance.
• Review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the molding department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
