JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Strategy and Planning: Developing a comprehensive Privileged Access Management strategy in line with the organization's security goals and compliance requirements. Collaborating with other IT teams to integrate PAM with other security solutions for a cohesive defense strategy and operation.
- Implementation: Deploying PAM system, which can include tools for password management, session monitoring, access control, and more. Integrating PAM solutions with existing infrastructure and applications.
- Configuration and Customization: Configuring PAM tool to align with the organization's specific needs and security policies. Customizing workflows, access policies, and authentication methods.
- Access Control: Defining and managing access policies for privileged accounts. Implementing just-in-time access, least privilege, and role-based access control principles.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Monitoring privileged account activities and sessions for any signs of unauthorized access or suspicious behavior. Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with security policies and industry regulations.
- Incident Response and Remediation: Responding to and investigating security incidents related to privileged access. Taking appropriate actions to mitigate threats and prevent further breaches.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining documentation of PAM processes, procedures, and configurations. Generating regular reports on PAM activities, including access requests, approvals, and audits.
- User Training and Awareness: Providing training to employees and other stakeholders about the importance of privileged access security and best practices for managing privileged accounts.
- Vendor Management: Managing vendor relationships, including updates, patches, and support.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying updated with the latest trends, vulnerabilities, and technologies in PAM and cybersecurity. Continuously improving PAM processes and strategies to adapt to evolving threats.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Specific PAM solution certifications.
- Strong technical skills in cybersecurity.
- In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on security
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
