Job Function

1) Lead and mentor the costing executive to ensure high accuracy in cost analysis.

2) Participate in recipes costing.

3) Plan and Monitor stocktake on month end basis.

4) Oversee and ensure the accuracy of cost for inventory items. Develop and maintain pricing templates, update price books, and generate detailed cost reports. Provide monthly profitability analysis by menu items, product, and category.

5) Create and manage stock codes, PLUs, and barcodes for all restaurant and retail items. Ensure accuracy inventory tracking and control to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.

6) Support the budgeting process and financial forecasting by providing accurate cost data and pricing insights. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to ensure financial plans are realistic and achievable.

7) Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.

8) Identify and implement best practices in costing, pricing, and inventory management. Streamline processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall financial performance.

9) Work closely with various departments including finance, purchasing, kitchen, and retail operations to ensure integrated cost management strategies and seamless execution.

10) Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and financial standards. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of pricing decisions, cost analyses, and operational procedures.

11) Performs related duties and other ad-hoc task as and when required.

12) Able to work independently with positive attitude approach.

13) Establish and land a proper Inventory handling procedure at store level.

Requirements:

· Educational Background: Diploma or/and Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.

· Proven experience in a costing or pricing role within the restaurant and retail sectors. Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, pricing strategy, and financial analysis.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex cost data and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions.

· Effective leadership and team management skills, with experience in guiding a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing cost data, preparing reports, and implementing pricing strategies.

· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to address challenges and develop practical solutions in cost management and operations.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis tools)

· Prepared to work retail hours and weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,211.88 - RM3,007.31 per month
