POSITION : SENIOR FABRICATION WELDING EXPERT • Managing welding operations, ensuring high-quality standards, optimizing welding processes, and leading teams of welders and fabricators. • Leading welding and fabrication processes, managing teams of welders, and ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. • Oversee and execute the most challenging welding operations, including multi-pass, positional, and high-precision welding. • Supervise the preparation of materials for welding, including cutting, cleaning, beveling, and aligning components. • Ensure welding procedures are followed accurately to meet project specifications. • Continuously review and optimize welding and fabrication processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize waste. • Troubleshoot complex welding issues, such as material inconsistencies, distortion, or defects, and implement corrective actions. • Oversee quality control checks on welds, ensuring that all completed welds meet required specifications and tolerances. • Ensure all welds are inspected for common defects such as porosity, undercuts, cracks, and lack of penetration. • Ensure that all welding machines, tools, and fabrication equipment are maintained, repaired, and calibrated according to manufacturer instructions. Required Skills: The required skills for the position SENIOR FABRICATION WELDING EXPERT are as follow: • Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in fabrication welding and troubleshooting is necessary. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Adhere to safety and quality policies. • Effective problem-solving abilities. • Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. • Candidate must possess relevant education certification. • Must have knowledge in GD&T.
