SIT Tester (Banking)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Participate in test planning, test execution, and defect triage meetings.
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and best practices.
• Provide clear and concise test reports and status updates.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
• Develop and maintain test data.
• Automate test cases where appropriate to improve testing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in software testing.
• Preferably experience in the banking or finance industry.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, techniques, and tools. Experience with
• bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Familiarity with test management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing is a plus.
• Experience with test automation tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience testing banking or financial applications.
• ISTQB certification.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

Pay: RM2,999.00 - RM4,999.00 per month
