Job Description
About the role
The role will be in charge of developing scalable and reliable automation frameworks and tools with production quality code. You will be part of the product release readiness team and work closely with product managers, product development teams, and quality assurance professionals to ensure a consistent and reliable software product for us, our partners, and our users.
What you’ll do:
Design and develop automation tooling to enhance engineering productivity.
Develop and maintain functional and non-functional test automation frameworks to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Write automated integration and end-to-end test cases to increase overall test coverage.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality of automation tooling.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify areas of automation improvements and required tooling. Provide creative automation solutions.
Test complex applications that emphasize performance, scalability, and high reliability.
Basic Requirements
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/ Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
Proven skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Java development.
2+ years of professional experience in test automation development on API and UI with CI/CD pipeline integration or in software engineering web development.
Strong communication skills.
What We’re Looking For:
Passion for software architecture, APIs, and high performance extensible software.
Professional experience in web UI test automation frameworks: PlayWright, Cypress, or Selenium.
Good understanding of microservice topologies and deployment patterns in the cloud and/or edge.
Experience in load test generation using JMeter, Gatling, Locust, K6, or Artillery.
Ability to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a solution.
Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies for a fast paced environment.
Strong knowledge of automation architecture, methodologies, processes, and tools.
Experience in GitHub Actions/Jenkins, Azure/AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Postman.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with direct and extended teams.
Experience in both front-end and back-end development is a big plus.
