Wealth and Retail Banking (WRB) serves more than 11 million clients in many of the world’s fastest-growing markets. Our client continuum spans from Mass Retail to Affluent, including high-net worth clients served by our Private Bank. We leverage digital banking channels with a human touch to provide clients with differentiated products and services such as deposits, payments, financing, wealth management and personalised advice. We also support small business clients with their business banking needs.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth Retail Banking team in the role of Product Sales Specialist working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets.

Principal Responsibilities:
Meeting of KPIs
  • To perform direct closure of life insurance products for mass affluent, employee banking and business banking segment.
  • Accountable to bring in direct insurance business revenue via self-closure as primary task
  • Actively acquire new to product (NTP) clients via multiple communication methods (cold calling, e-mails, etc) and different channels (self-source, referrals, roadshows etc)
  • Actively support any referrals from other business channels.
  • To achieve overall participation, productivity, conversion ratio, profitability and quality sales.
  • Work closely with the retail stakeholders and Insurance Service Provider (ISP) to ensure sales and service is provided to Retail Banking customers in line with Bank standard
  • Provides after sales service & guidance to customers such claims process, policy changes, etc.

Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies/Banking/Insurance or equivalent with necessary & relevant licenses.
  • Highly results oriented with Strong negotiation skills and influencing skills to drive sales.
  • With min 2 years of relevant working experience in financial service industry with sales experience in Bancassurance and life insurance protection product preferably in a banking environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
