Role description
Role Proficiency:
Execute test cases with accuracy and prevent incorrect product shipment by reporting business critical bugs. Position works under supervision
Outcomes:
- Able to complete the assigned test grid without deviation from given test steps
- Determine product failures and report in test repository and bug tracker
- Find 'out of box' product issues
- Learn technology business domain system domain individually and as recommended by the project/account
- Execute Adhoc scenarios as required
- File P1/Showstopper issues
Measures of Outcomes:
- Number of Adhoc scenarios executed
- Compliance in updating the test repository and bug database properly
- Number of P1/ Showstopper Issues filed
- Adherence to schedule / timelines
- Adhere to SLAs where applicable
- Number of defects post delivery
- Number of non-compliance issues
- Reduction of reoccurrence of known defects as per SLA
- SLA in turnaround of production bugs
- Defined productivity standards for project
- Completion of all mandatory training requirements

Additional Comments:Job Description We are looking for engineers who will be responsible to support graphics and linux related issues for post-launch Intel products. In this role, you will be supporting leading graphics, media and display technologies and will be working closing with other software support engineers. Requirements Knowledge of EV validation, CPU architecture. Good understanding of hardware interaction, specifically for Graphics Chipsets, monitors, and display ports Deep knowledge of varied Linux distributions: Ubuntu, Yocto, Redhat, CentOS and Windows OS environment Understanding of Intel Architecture-based CPU and chipsets Understanding of x86 Boot Process, BIOS and firmware integration and debug would be an added advantage Knowledge in C, Python and Shell programming is an added advantage Qualifications Candidates must possess a degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with 3 - 7 years' experience in IA validation, test or technical support. Analytical and strong problem-solving skills, and ability to drive issues to closure are essential Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency across English is a must, Mandarin (added advantage)
