- Sign out key and ensure you have possession of keys at all times -
- Select rooms from the report. Always clean vacant dirty rooms first and then service occupied rooms, unless advised otherwise by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Always check off (tick) completed rooms on the report sheet together with the starting and finishing time.
- Clean rooms as specified and report any discrepancy status to Housekeeping Office immediately.
- Report any maintenance defects promptly to the Housekeeping Office, together with the room number, staff name and exact location of the problem.
- Fill up the soiled linen report for each room when cleaned. When all rooms have been completed and the report completed correctly, proceed to total up the columns. Important to be accurate in completing this report.
- To follow Lost & Found Policy for any Lost & Found Items found in guest rooms. Contact the Housekeeping Office; give your name and an accurate description of the item. Put the item into a bag and place it safely on the housekeeping trolley for collection, together with the completed Lost & Found Item Docket.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
