Position Summary:
The Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness, orderliness, and the highest level of hygiene in guest rooms and public areas. This role includes staff supervision, training, and quality control to maintain exceptional standards in line with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Management
• Supervise and assign daily cleaning tasks to housekeeping staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
• Address and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping services promptly.
• Staff Management
• Train, coach, and mentor housekeeping staff to maintain high service standards.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Prepare duty rosters, manage shift schedules, and ensure adequate staff coverage.
• Inventory and Supplies
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, toiletries, and linens.
• Coordinate with the procurement team for replenishment of inventory.
• Ensure proper usage and care of housekeeping equipment.
• Health & Safety Compliance
• Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including fire safety and sanitation protocols.
• Conduct regular safety training and briefings for staff.
• Administrative Duties
• Record and report maintenance issues to the maintenance department.
• Prepare and submit housekeeping reports to the management.
• Manage departmental budgets and cost control measures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM2,000.00 per month
