Job Description:

  • Prepare monthly management and financial reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial data.
  • Mange monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and internal reporting, including cash flow, financial statements, and management accounts.
  • Oversee and ensure compliance with accounting standards, updating internal procedures accordingly.
  • Manage daily Accounts Receivable functions.
  • Process & monitor collections from customers, process debit notes, credit notes, refunds and rebates.
  • Report on overdue invoices, generate reminders for overdue accounts and follow up on collections with respective departments.
  • Prompts communicate or updates to manager &sale team for AR disputes, determine next course of action to speed resolution and collection.
  • Responsible for sale revenue accounting in accordance with the corporate's revenue recognition policies.
  • Prepare weekly bank payment.
  • Manage petty cash.
  • Mange unapplied cash, requesting remittance advices.
  • Update daily cashbook, determines company's cash position and perform cashflow forecasting
  • Ensure month end close duties are prioritized and deadline are delivered on time.
  • Participate in month end closing, including Revenue finalization, Reconciliation for Bank, AR and intercompanies, and Forex currency translation.
  • Monitor credit limit and overdue invoices for all customers.
  • Collaborate and work closely with various departments, able to discuss, review, articulate and recommend suggestions or ideas that contributes towards success of the company and financial plans
  • To monitor &process urgent requests and tasks on a timely basis.
  • Be flexible to work on weekends (Saturday/ Sunday) occasionally, with compensatory weekdays off provided.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in full-spectrum accounting.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
