· Manage and supervise the reservations team, ensuring high performance and adherence to hotel standards.
· Monitor and maximize room occupancy, revenue, and average room rate.
· Ensure that all reservation requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
· Manage room inventory, ensuring availability and optimizing occupancy.
· Handle and process reservation inquiries, bookings, and cancellations through various channels (phone, email, online platforms).
· Implement and maintain effective reservation procedures to ensure accurate and timely bookings.
· Analyse booking trends and provide regular reports on occupancy, revenue, and market segments. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for attracting and retaining guests.
· Maintain strong relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and online travel agencies (OTAs).
· Ensure all guest requests and special requirements are handled efficiently and professionally.
· Train and develop the reservations team to enhance their skills and performance.
· Resolve any issues related to reservations, overbooking, or guest complaints promptly and effectively.
· Prepare and present regular reports on reservations activity, occupancy rates, and revenue.
· Monitor and enforce compliance with legal requirements, such as data protection regulations.
· Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new reservation technologies.
· To perform any additional duties and responsibilities when requested by the management.
Qualifications and Skills:
· Must have experience as a Reservation Manager or in a similar role within the hotel industry.
· Strong knowledge of hotel reservations systems, preferably IHMS
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient in MS Office and hotel management software.
· At least 5 years of working experience and above
· A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
