Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Management:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business goals.
  • Prepare short-term and long-term financial forecasts, including annual budgets and financial planning.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure smooth operations of the company.

    2. Financial Reporting and Management:

    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
    • Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
    • Manage the annual financial audit and work with external auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial reports.

      3. Financial Risk Management:

      • Identify, analyze, and manage the company’s financial risks.
      • Develop and implement financial control policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
      • Ensure the protection of the company’s assets through insurance and other risk control measures.

        4. Compliance and Regulations:

        • Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant financial laws and regulations.
        • Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
        • Stay updated on changes in financial laws and ensure the company remains compliant with the latest regulations.

          5. Team Management:

          • Lead and guide the finance team in their daily tasks.
          • Provide training and development to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
          • Evaluate the performance of the finance team and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.

            6. Support in Decision Making:

            • Provide financial analysis to support the company’s strategic decision-making.
            • Advise senior management on investments, cost management, and profit improvement opportunities.
            • Support special projects by providing financial forecasts and cost-benefit analysis.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a financial management role.
  • Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, financial planning, and financial risk management.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
