Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning and Management:- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s business goals.
- Prepare short-term and long-term financial forecasts, including annual budgets and financial planning.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure smooth operations of the company.
2. Financial Reporting and Management:- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Manage the annual financial audit and work with external auditors to ensure the accuracy of financial reports.
3. Financial Risk Management:- Identify, analyze, and manage the company’s financial risks.
- Develop and implement financial control policies and procedures to mitigate risks.
- Ensure the protection of the company’s assets through insurance and other risk control measures.
4. Compliance and Regulations:- Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant financial laws and regulations.
- Manage tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Stay updated on changes in financial laws and ensure the company remains compliant with the latest regulations.
5. Team Management:- Lead and guide the finance team in their daily tasks.
- Provide training and development to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Evaluate the performance of the finance team and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
6. Support in Decision Making:- Provide financial analysis to support the company’s strategic decision-making.
- Advise senior management on investments, cost management, and profit improvement opportunities.
- Support special projects by providing financial forecasts and cost-benefit analysis.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CPA are an advantage.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a financial management role.
- Experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial accounting, financial planning, and financial risk management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
