POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the cardiac center and Klinik Amal Percuma. The Medical Officer focuses on operational management, patient care, and compliance with established medical protocols. This role also involves collaborating with cardiologists and other medical professionals to deliver high-quality care to patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Operational Management

1.1. Ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations of the Center.

1.2. Implement and monitor procedural compliance to maintain operational efficiency.

1.3. Oversee infrastructure maintenance to ensure functionality and safety of medical equipment.

1.4. Ensure compliance with safety standards, including waste and water management.

2. Patient Care

2.1 Ensure patients are reviewed by attending cardiologists and receive safe and effective treatment.

2.2 Identify and manage patient issues through medication or therapy adjustments between cardiologist visits.

2.3 Schedule and review diagnostic tests, interpret results, and take appropriate actions.

2.4 Refer patients with complications to specialists or referral centers as required.

2.5 Educate patients on lifestyle changes, diet, and treatment adherence through structured counselling programs.

3. Patient Counselling and Advocacy

4. Ad-Hoc Responsibilities

4.1. Support events such as patient welfare programs, seminars, and workshops organized by the center.

5. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
